What Should You Expect at a Dentist Appointment For Your Child?
It can be daunting for children to attend their first dentist appointment. Our offices are catered to your young ones to reduce anxiety and fear. We have exciting kid’s movies available for them to watch as a fun distraction during treatment and even general anaesthesia or happy gas for use at the parents’ discretion.
Anxiety is common in young kids who have never been to the dentist before, which is why we have the techniques and tools to help make this experience as comfortable and easy as possible. We make it a priority to help ease your child into their oral health journey so that they can build a long and lasting relationship with their oral health. With a welcoming environment and friendly staff, your child and family will feel right at home when they come in for check-ups.

What Dental Treatments Are Typical For Children?
Our offices provide the most options possible for your family so that you can get every treatment you need under one roof. The first steps in diagnosing and treating any early signs of problems are:
- Monitor the child’s bite
- Provide fluoride treatments
After these initial steps, our team can additionally offer preventative sealants to prevent tooth decay. Regular cleanings are the most essential element of your child’s dental care. At these initial cleanings, our team focuses on care and education for your family. We teach kids as young as 12 months old the proper methods of brushing and flossing for optimal oral health.
